EH! IS ENVIRONMENT HALIBURTON, an environmental group in the Haliburton Highlands, one of the most beautiful areas in Ontario, Canada. Lush forests, sparkling lakes and an abundance of wildlife are what bring people from all over the world to Haliburton County.
EH!'s primary objective is to protect that natural beauty. The group was formed in January 2003, when 15 people braved a cold winter day and met in a church basement in Haliburton Village.
Anyone who cares about the environment is encouraged to join. Membership costs $20 per year.

NEVER BRING FIREWOOD INTO HALIBURTON COUNTY! NEVER TAKE WOOD FROM ONE PART OF THE PROVINCE TO ANOTHER. BURN WOOD THAT COMES FROM WITHIN THE COUNTY IN ORDER TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF THE ASIAN LONG-HORNED BEETLE. IF UNCHECKED, THIS BEETLE COULD LITERALLY DESTROY ONTARIO'S
HARDWOOD FORESTS.
